Laying down flat.

There's been a handful of times in the past, where I have not been certain of a place to sleep. Definitely not the end of the world, there are hundreds of vagabonds and homeless that manage it quite well. But because of those times, I have a healthy respect of the luxury that is a bed. And every time I get to lay in one, and pass a night restfully, a blessing. Maybe one day my perspective will change and I'll be thankful for my mat to sleep on, or for a breeze through a window as I sleep, but I am now definitely getting distracted by a tangential topic.... My point: Jake and I made it safely to Honduras yesterday, and after a long day of travel were very thankful to sleep in our bed for the next two months.

Past trips I have made the trip on a weekday, meaning the morning after arrival I am in the hospital. Traveling on a Saturday, Jake and I were instead able to have a slow morning. Our biggest concern was when to shut the windows trying to keep the cool of the morning inside while the sun heated up the outside. Definitely going to have to remember this for future travels, it eases the transition and allows a day of adjustment and settling. Again not necessary, but I am appreciating it.

We went for a walk after church checking out changes that have been made on the campus and surrounding areas.
