Dividing to conquer

Jake left for Biloxi, Mississippi at 5am this morning, and as I write this he is making his way through rain storms in Alabama.

I was not a fan of seeing him take off without me, we prefer going on adventures together. But, when trying to fit the trip into our schedule, I had to admit defeat and ask him to go without me.

The Cornerstone Foundation sends a shipping container down to Honduras on average 1-2 times a year, depending on the needs at the hospital. As long term missionaries, they allow us space on the shipping container. We just have to get the items to Biloxi. The next shipping container is due to ship in July, pending receipt of needed paperwork. These weeks in June have been our window to pack up a few things. We definitely wanted to send the moto down, and since we would be needing to make the trip down for that, we took advantage of the opportunity. You'll see in the pictures below Jake's handiwork in this process. He devised a system of totes, gaylords and crates and over the past week, while I was at the hospital, he organized everything. Due to his planning, on Monday we rented a Penske Truck, borrowed a tractor from Bio Town Ag. and loaded up the filled gaylords and crates.

First gaylord to be loaded.
First gaylord to be loaded.
Second gaylord to be loaded.
Second gaylord to be loaded.
Time for the first crate

Everything's totally under control. Absolutely zero precarious situations here.

TaDaa!
TaDaa!

Praying for safety as Jake makes his way to Mississippi, and that the truck gets unloaded smoothly tomorrow so Jake can make his flight home again!

We recently received notification about another WorldVenture family who lost their belongings when the shipping container caught fire. Always a good reminder that these material possessions are just things. We would be tickled pink to be reunited with these few things in Honduras, but checking our happiness isn't dependent on them.

Much Love.
