Jake and I responded to a call for an all campus meeting on Wednesday. More specifically, a meeting of all missionaries serving in any capacity, across all Cornerstone Foundation properties. This includes the hospital, the school, the children's home, and the farm. It was explained that this was going to be the first of hopefully what will be a monthly meeting in an effort to support unity amongst us as a missionary community. We discussed current status and future goals for 2026 for all entities present. Jake and I mostly stayed quiet and listened, there was a lot to take in. I am thankful for this new opportunity to hear from the other areas of the mission. Whereas Jake is out and about between all of the properties (when he's not in Spanish class), the hospital does become a bubble for me.
The effort to encourage unity amongst us all as a mission community is also a blessing. It is so true that our actions speak louder than words, and even when we aren't speaking Jesus, we are always showing Jesus. Unity and love amongst missionaries unfortunately is not automatic. We appreciate the intentionality behind our community here in Honduras to love like Jesus and reflect that.
Danely update: We repeated her CT scan to monitor progress on her chemotherapy. The official radiological read reported no evidence of tumor. I was almost in shock. The power of prayer is truly miraculous. After reviewing available information, we have decided to continue her current treatment (which she continues to tolerate well) for another three months before considering stopping.
Much Love.

Danely's tumor is gone?! What a wonderful answer to many prayers!
