Jake and I started our Theology certification course this week. The recommendation came from our sending org, WorldVenture, and with the abundance of resources they have available to us as global workers, we thankfully have the opportunity to complete the course online. We will be having weekly meetings with our seminary-trained mentor assigned to walk through the material with us. He started us out with a course on "What's This Book About?" Taking a step outwards with a general overview of the Bible itself.

I will spare any specifics about the content itself, although it was rather fascinating. It would just constitute a blog post much longer than anyone could probably bare to read, and would be besides the point anyways. I instead mention the course due to it's propitious timing. After all, what is the Bible about, if not about Easter? Jesus sent as ransom in God's redemptive mission for every tribe and language and people and nation. Your redemption, and My redemption.

We did celebrate Easter this year. :) There was a sunrise service we attended, held on Lookout Point which is up the mountain above the hospital.
