We were blessed by a visit from our WorldVenture Global Directors for the Americas, the Guptas, earlier this week.

As GD for the Americas they were instrumental in advocating for our appointment under WorldVenture. And as we have essentially opened a new field in Honduras within the WV umbrella, they have been available and easily accessible for us throughout our on-going transition. During the conference two weeks ago, Jason Gupta announced that he has accepted a job elsewhere and they will be leaving us in August. I may have cried hearing that, maybe... a little bit. But, it also made their visit this week that much more special. They served 17 years in Ukraine before transitioning into the Regional Director role and therefore have an abundant wealth of knowledge and wisdom. We spent the days as normal. Surgery on my side of things, and putting out fires on Jake's side of things plus Spanish class. But during the evenings, we tried to soak up as much as we could. Talk about drinking from a fire-hose...

We are incredibly thankful for these relationships. Mentors, teachers, friends.

The Guptas site visit is a first for WorldVenture and hopefully will help open the door for future missionary placement here in Honduras. The work for His Kingdom continues and is never done. We could use full-time, or part-time Anesthesia, Internal Medicine or Family practice, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Physical Therapy, and Teachers for all ages at the bilingual school.

Much Love.
