We made it home! And we are glad and thankful to be home! You know that feeling. The peanut butter is right where you left it. It's that feeling of stability and settledness that comes from the details. Granted there was a layer of gecko poop over everything that did demand attention, but there again... it's those details that you can count on to be there making a place a home.

After working in Indiana for a few weeks we traveled to Panama for a conference that took place this past week. It was the America's Conference with our sending org, WorldVenture. We gathered in Panama with our fellow missionaries from North, Central and South America. It was a time of meeting and workshopping with our peers from their various fields. Of course time was likewise partitioned for singing and fun. And last, but definitely not least, it was a time of rest. All parts equally beneficial and uplifting, making an all-around blessed experience that we are very thankful for.

Thankful for the time of rest and restoration. Even though breakfast wasn't available until 7am, we found the secret coffee and would stow-it-away to the beach each morning! Don't worry, we told others... eventually ;)

Thankful for the time of connection and community. It was a blessing to get to spend time with the Elkins! Andy, Madi, Myla and Nolan were appointed together at the same Connect week last March 2025, and we then were together at the same Launch week in July 2025. We look forward to continuing to work with and alongside the Elkins.

Back to business tomorrow!

Much Love!

The hard times, the trials, are God-intended for our good. A cliché phrase perhaps, and one often shared as encouragement for lack of other/better words during those very times of trial. And it is a t
